Insel-Hotel Heilbronn

I booked last minute, and the spacious room and excellent breakfast was pretty good. The pool area was a great relaxing spot during my trip!

air conditioning wasn't working effectively.

The units are brand-new, luxurious. The bed is very comfy, really! This place is in a perfect location close to the center.

Really enjoyed Heilbronn, the hotel was extremely convenient and well priced in front of the restaurants. Absolutely perfect and nice location, the staff were very competent. What's more, it was near to an island in the Neckar River, Deutschland, and Frankfurt airport.

Absolutely not what I expected! The air conditioning was broken, leaving me sweltering through the night, and the shower head was completely broken-how is that even allowed? I almost thought I woudl ve been compensated, but alas, no. The staff should definitely know how to fix things promptly, but apparently, they don't.

It was in a central location, near to the train station. Moreover, it's just next door to an island in the middle of the river and centre of Heilbronn and Frankfurt airport.

clean quaint accommodation with favourable location close to restaurants and shopping and accommodating staff. nicely furnished, neat room with a private bathroom and a shower and a hairdryer. good experience there.

I was particularly impressed by the serene indoor pool with its nice color-changing lights. The breakfast was lavish, with carafes of fresh coffee on each table.

No small fridge in the room.

There was nothing special in the hotel. Room was small and there was not minibar or refrig in the room, tv has no english program and no pay tv. Quality of soap and shampoo was not good. When you were in the room you feel like 2 or max 3 star hotel. Only the resturant was nice.

Central situation of the hotel

- Hotel being renovated, therefore, not very pleasant - we asked for quiet room, we got a room with street view (during wine festival...), window not closing properly,... - the "park" behind the hotel is more a garden - long lasting service at the restaurant -> price is huge for the quality of service, I would not recommend it

Its location and adequate u/c parking space. Also the wi-fi worked without an I.Q test or census style questionnaire like in most hotels.

On a hot day and evening the air conditioning was not connected to the electricity supply.

I enjoyed my short stay, especially the fantastic indoor pool and the quality dinner menu, but breakfast could've offered more variety.

Staff always very helpful. Very dog friendly. We always use this hotel as we are travelling to/from Austria from the UK
